Welding
Welding is the key service Iron Industrial offers. Our shop is tooled up to be able to efficiently process small-medium size weldments at scale. Because of our unique setup and production management system, we are able to flow our clients' components through the shop seamlessly. We are certified to CWB W47.1 Division 1 welding , and are happy offer both certified and uncertified welding work. Our team is very experienced and eager to take on your next project!
We offer a very competitive rate at just $80/hr for our welding service.
Capabilities:
- 12x Welding work cells equipped with Lincoln PowerMIG 255 Welders
- A resistance spot welding station with a Rainbow Electronics 2450 Welder
- An automated weld cell with a Fanuc 120iB robotic welder and onsite programmer
Laser Cutting & Forming
Iron Industrial offers CNC laser (or HD plasma) and forming services for our clients, generally in conjunction with a welding project. By processing our customers' parts along with ours, we are able to reduce scrap costs and everyone wins. Cut and formed parts generally have a 2-3 week lead time.
Grinding/Polishing
Our production team is very experienced with smoothing and blending welds for the best surface finish. Our product lines are high-end consumer goods with very high quality standards, so we take metal finishing very seriously, and can do it quite competitively.
Product Design & CAD Modeling
Iron Industrial offers in-house product design. We can bring ideas to reality, moving seamlessly from a concept sketch to CAD model and completed prototype. We have extensive experience in product design with our affiliate brands, including Iron Embers and Compost Coach.
We offer design service at the very competitive rate of just $60/hr.

- 3D Modeling using Autodesk Inventor Professional 2023
- 2D Drawing using AutoCAD 2023
- Significant experience with SolidWorks (CSWP Certification)
- Mechanical Professional Engineer (P.Eng) on staff
- Designers experienced in DFMA and Automation
Painting
Our shop features a certified 15'x30' wet spray booth, equipped with both airless and cup style spray guns. Our painters have experience with many types of paints, including 2-part epoxies and high-solid enamels.
Packaging
The Iron Industrial shop ships packages across North America daily. Because of this, we've developed a robust system to reduce enroute shipping damage. Our shipping team can package your completed orders to your exact needs!
